October, WaveStorm signed a multi-year
research agreement with Ecole Nationale des Télécommunications.
2006
July, WaveStorm launches its
CNX 100 product line. Including Bluetooth and WiFi wireless connectivity along with USB and serial interfaces, it can easily fit in any electronic device to turn it into a communicating device.
September, Starbucks France chooses WaveStorm's hotspot management solutions to provide wifi access to its coffee shops' customers.
October, WaveStorm spins-off the exploitation of its WiFi hotspot management solutions to reinforce its focus on the development of hardware and software enabling the communication of "things". QuickSpot and SiteNexus become products of the company
SpotCoffee.
2007
March, Meccano (Erector in the US) teams up with WaveStorm to build and manufacture the electronics -including the WiFi board- of its christmas 2007 blockbuster robot "Spykee".
December,
WaveStorm unveils the RiiMOTE platform, a turnkey solution to turn your hardware devices into pure web services interconnected with their users digital space.
